Sattu ke ladoo | Laddu | Indian sweet | Gluten free recipe

Hello... This is the first time ever I have made ladoos/laddus, basically small ball shaped India sweets. Ladoo is a very popular sweet in India, it can be made out of various ingredients. Today i am making sattu ke ladoo. Sattu in English means Horse gram which is grind into a very fine powder. Sattu is used intensively in Bihar, odisha and eastern UP. I came in term with this ingredient almost 5 years back when a dear friend of mine introduced the most popular sattu ke paranthe .Trust me it was mouthwatering. And there on sattu was always there in my pantry. Of late (for bout couple of years) i have even see my father having a glass full of sattu mixed with water with a dash of lime and salt in it.

Sattu has a lot of healthy properties

- the first property i would like to get in notice is that sattu is absolutely gluten free
- Its high is fiber that makes it super healthy for the intestine.
- It is good for people who have diabetics as it is a low glycaemic index.
- Its a super drink in summers and it has cooling properties.
