The most liked and popular dip off-late "hummus". Hummus is an origin of the Middle Eastern cuisine. The name " Hummus'' actually means chickpeas or even more popularly know in India as chole. It got popular in India with the ever growing fondness for Lebanese cuisine.
It is a super simple dip/spread to prepare and not necessarily be served with pita bread only. I like to serve it as a dip along with my nuggets, salads, sandwiches and even more. its a great substitute in place of mayo.
The reason i am making this dip is because yesterday when my friends and i went out shopping, my friend "S2" picked up a jar of hummus which costed a bomb. i suggested her that i will make it for her and send it across. Its is such a simple recipe and does not need any prep as all the ingredients are readily available in any Indian kitchen.
